KeyRah & C64 Reloaded MK2

Consider these projects started.

I've got two C64C systems that I had trouble with in the past. I'm going to attribute the damage to me getting really stoned with pain and pain killers and thinking I was God. The chips are good. I just screwed some timing issues up and the systems are no longer working.

Why the KeyRah?

The KeyRah will allow me to create a C=64 in one of the cases using the stock keyboard and then connect it to a specially programmed Raspberry Pi. I've very much looking forward to doing this one. I have a great many things I would like to do with that system.

Why the C64 Reloaded MK2?

This motherboard will allow me to make use of the main chips I've salvaged from the two C64Cs I toasted. The MK2 has a ton of features that will support many hours of exploration. I will be able to program alternate ROMS and do all kinds of weird programming and/or configuration manipulation on a real Commodore licensed product. One of the few things I want to iron out is actually printing something that is created with the MK2.

Comparison?

Yes, I do expect to post a comparison of the technologies. I hope to blog the journeys of each as I work and develop them. I am very excited about the path that I have committed to journey. I hope you will join me...
